For your own growth

These are the four questions my own coaching sessions bring me back to, twice a month. Try answering them for yourself.

For moms in every season
Simple ways to be present in every season of your child’s childhood.
One thing I’ve learned over the past 21 years of parenting is that every season comes with its own joys and challenges—and every single one of them is temporary.
Some seasons feel incredibly short. Others feel like they may never end.
The goal isn’t to enjoy every moment, make every day special, or get it all right. It’s simply to be awake to the season you’re in—to notice the good alongside the hard, to keep building connection with your child as they grow, and to remember that it won’t always be this way.
Here are some things I’ve learned along the way that have helped me do that.
Remember:
It won’t always be this way.
You don’t have to make every moment meaningful.
You don’t have to cherish every minute.
You don’t have to be a perfect mom.
Just keep learning. Keep becoming the mom they need. Keep repairing. Keep showing up. Keep getting to know the child in front of you.
And every once in a while, take stock of your days and ask yourself:
What is hard about this season?
What is good about this season?
What might I miss someday?
Who is my child becoming?
What does being present with them look like right now?
The goal isn’t a childhood—or a motherhood—with no regrets.
It’s simply getting to the end with a suitcase full of memories and only a change purse of regrets, and creating something beautiful with your children that will carry on for generations.
A 30-day motherhood journal to help you be the mom they need in every season.
A few quiet minutes each day to notice what happened, find the good among the hard, and choose how you want to show up tomorrow. Whether your kids are in diapers or about to leave home, it helps you number your days and soak in the season you’re in.
About
My hope is to reach the end of my life with a suitcase full of captured moments and only a change purse of regrets.
I’ve always been drawn to questions like these: Am I living in a way that truly matters? Am I making the most of the time I’ve been given?
“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12
That verse has guided me for years. To me, it isn’t about counting days with fear or pressure. It’s about cultivating awareness, intention, and wisdom so that each choice we make lines up with what matters most. Life is finite, and the way we spend our days shapes the quality of our years.
That perspective became deeply personal for me in 2017 during a cancer scare, in the middle of a very full and busy season of life. It confronted me with the reality that our days are not guaranteed, and it deepened a desire I’d already carried for years: to be fully present, to make the most of each season I’m given, and to live with as few regrets as possible. That experience didn’t make me fearful of time passing. It made me more awake to it.
I spent nearly twenty years at home with my kids, homeschooling them from kindergarten through graduation. When that season ended, I found myself in one of the biggest transitions of my life. Having a coach walk alongside me through it was one of the greatest gifts I’ve been given, and it’s a big part of why I do this work now.
My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. I create space for you to slow down, reflect honestly, and take intentional steps forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable, so you can spend your time and energy in ways that reflect the life and legacy you want to build.
